With many of PGW’s customers accessing the site from rural locations using phones and tablets, the experience needed to be quick and easy, and perfectly presented on any screen.
They also wanted to make it easier for customers to find their products by optimising their website for search engine results.
Supplying dangerous or large goods presented challenges in the fulfilment model. By implementing a mixed fulfilment cart system, PGW are able to tag specific products that must be collected in store only via click & collect. For all other products, customers are provided with dispatch options.
Since its launch in 2020, the new platform has been a success for PGW with online sales growing month on month. Leveraging on this success, Redbox have recently developed a B2B site, allowing trade customers to transact using their existing trade accounts.
